Sadie - First Week Update

Sadie has been ours for almost one week now and things are going great!  We're working on crate training her at night and when we're away (only for short periods of time, obviously... she's a baby), and it has proven to be harder than we'd expected.  No complaints from the neighbors so far about the crying, but keep your fingers crossed.

Sadie's daily schedule includes: pooping (most of the time outside), eating, playing, napping... and then repeat that about six times!  Despite all of the work involved in caring for a puppy, we adore her. :)

Sadie's first bath - luckily, the lifeguard was on hand in case anything went awry.  Fortunately, things went swimmingly. ;)

Sadie prefers biting flesh when playing, a behavior we're trying to correct by replacing our hands and feet with toys for her sharp little puppy teeth.

After a long day away, both Sam and Sadie wanted some love - luckily, they are 

learning to coexist (and we think deep down they may even like each other!).
