As anyone who has been around us in the last couple of months knows, we have quickly and absolutely become "dog people". Sadie is always happy to see us, greeting us with her sideways body-wag, and even when she gets into trouble for digging in the backyard (Matt does not like that recent behavior one bit), her face is so adorable that it's tough to be angry at her for very long.
Basically, we adore her.
Kelly, my college roomie and an all-around great friend to Matt & me, and her dog, Colby, moved back to San Diego last weekend, so they stopped to stay with us for one night. Sadie and Colby became fast friends, and I'm pretty sure Colby wanted to take their relationship to the next level after just one play date (if you know what I mean...)! He must get that from his mom (haha).
Colby is a daschund/pug mix. He is a sweetheart!
It's tough to get a good picture of us. This one will have to do.
John tore his ACL & meniscus last weekend playing rugby, so we had a visit from Mama & Papa Loyko, John, and Kelly today to do some car switching, etc. As you can see, they are dog people, too. :) Sadie stole the show and loved every minute of it! It was fabulous to see everyone, if only for the afternoon.

And here's a pic from yesterday's car ride. Even a trip to the vet can't get this pup down. She's the best. :)
