Last weekend was so perfect. The weather was cool without being too cold and bright & sunshiney. Matt, Sadie, and I piled into the truck and drove to the Mount Gretna near the hospital Matt works at to go on a short hike. It ended up being more of a walk than a hike, but the scenery was so beautiful and we were in such good spirits that it really didn't matter. Perhaps we are getting the hang of this Pennsylvania thing after all.
The peak at the top had a tower which you can climb to see all across Lancaster county.
That is one seriously happy dog!
We had a small moment of panic when we realized that Sadie had multiple ticks crawling on her. Having never seen a tick before, I thought it was a tiny spider until Matt couldn't crush it - they are tough little things! Luckily, all of them were simply in her fur and hadn't latched on yet. We went home and praised the veterinary gods for Frontline. :)
